ASU joins Q3 earthquake drill

 Aklan State University-Banga Campus participated in the 3rd quarterly Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) at ASU-Circular Lawn on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

The drill was attended by students, faculty members, and staff.

 "An earthquake drill is important for teachers and students to prepare for and mitigate potential disasters by being aware of their actions and location", Ms. Mitzi Auhelio, SAS instructor, said on the importance of the drill.

 The drill aimed to enhance the safety awareness and readiness of students and staff in the face of potential disasters.

"During the drill, I learned the importance of staying away from windows and sa mabibigat na objects that could fall during an earthquake," said Baby Jane Patricio from the Bachelor of Secondary Education, 2-1.
