BMP celebrates 29th National Crime Prevention Week

The Balete Municipal Police (BMP) the 29th National Crime Prevention Week, with the theme "Addressing Crime and Advancing Crime Prevention at the Local,  National and Global Levels held at Poblacion, Balete, Aklan, on Friday, September 2, 2023.

A friendly basketball game was held to celebrate the event, where 18 BNP personnel participated.

"Let us continue this journey towards a crime-free future, where unity and collective affort make our community stronger," said, BMP Officer Esmael R. Panganonong

The event was headed by the BNP and aims to strengthen bonds between police
personnel and the community.

Man arrests for fraud The Balete Municipal Police Station (BMPS), together with the Altavas Municipal Police Station (AMPS) and the 1st Aklan Provincial Mobile Force Company (APMFC), successfully apprehended a suspect involved in an estafa case through a hot pursuit operation around 1:00 pm at Brgy. Fulgencio, Balete, Aklan, on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. The suspect is a 21-year-old male resident of Sitio Daeamo, Brgy.
